The second round of the FIDE World Cadets Cup U8-U12 was played on June 17 in Batumi, Georgia.

Young players from 68 countries continued their quest for qualification to the final stage of the new FIDE World Cadets Championship cycle. Following another day of exciting and hard-fought games, a number of players maintained their perfect scores and moved into the leading positions in their respective categories.

All games are being broadcast live, allowing chess enthusiasts around the world to follow the action from Batumi.
