Chess Solving Awards Ceremony

The event attracted 236 young solvers from 48 countries, making it one of the largest international youth chess solving competitions ever organized. Participants competed in six age and gender categories, solving specially selected chess composition problems and endgame studies.The competition was directed by David Gurgenidze, two-time World Champion in Chess Composition and Grandmaster of Chess Composition. The first three places in each category will be awarded medals and diplomas, while the champions will also receive cups.
The tournament highlighted the growing worldwide interest in chess solving among young players and provided a unique opportunity for talented children from around the world to compete at the highest international level.

The final results will be published on June 25 at 12:00.
The awards ceremony will be held on June 25, 2026, at 20:00 in the Playing Hall of Hotel Euphoria.
The preliminary results of the competition have been released. You can view the chess problems here.
Appeals may be submitted in person on June 24 from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00 in the Analysis Room at Hotel Euphoria. No appeals will be accepted after 18:00 on June 24.
